Laura Linney, best known for portraying strong, but weak characters, is among of the most well-known American actors of the present. When she was a child, spending summers at her father's house and gaining an interest in the theater. Following her studies in Brown University for a while and then later, she attended Juilliard School to study acting. She began her Broadway career after her graduation, and then made her TV debut in the next year. Her appearances have been on a variety of shows on stage, television and film productions since then. Over the course of her career, she won many awards, including the two Golden Globe Awards. In spite of all these accolades, her love for theater is still there constant, as she still performs onscreen and onstage.
