Allison Janney bio
Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14th, 1970) is an American actor. Her performances both on stage and in the screen have won her many awards, including the Academy Award for Best Actress, The British Academy Film Award for Best Film, the Golden Globe Award for Outstanding Film, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards for Primetime Emmy Awards and nominations to the Tony Awards. Allison Janney rose to fame after nearly twenty years on regional stages. The role she played in the role of White House press secretary C.J. quickly became a hit. Gregg in the wildly popular and acclaimed television drama The West Wing (NBC 1999-2006). Allison Janney is a natural late flowerer. She got her Ohio driving licence a whole year later, at 17 years old. Then she didn't meet the first date until after she went to university. Even though she auditioned at the age of 23 she didn't appear on screen until she was in her mid 30s. Faris is very picky about her roles following her departure from Mom in the year 2020. The exception to this being 2022's The Estate. The Estate, as Faris exclusively tells PEOPLE that this was not a conscious choice made on her part. Anna Faris left her popular CBS sitcom, Mom, before the eighth and final season. In the beginning, Faris stated that she would be leaving to pursue new opportunities, however now, she's revealing more about what made her step back from acting, which she says wasn't a conscious choice when she made it. Janney is a regular character on the show and has had a wig on. Fallon told her "'Guys I've been wearing the wig from the beginning of season 1, but no one had ever heard of it. Now everybody is aware.'" Janney intends to take the wig with her as a memento. During the early seasons there was a report that she made up to $125,000 an episode. Faris has been reported to have made $200,000 for each episode in season three and four.
